Kaeser Alm in Samerberg

Very nice place for a family hike. Since the path to the Alm is not too steep and strenuous, the hike can also be done with small children. The Kaiserschmarrn on the Alm is very tasty

We had the Kaiserschmarrn, it was delicious. Maybe a little greasy. But still very good. Great view while eating. Nice playground for the little ones. We would love to come back.

Always worth a trip. Good food, nice service and the kids like the playground. Can only get a bit full in good weather.

Several beautiful footpaths lead up there. Lots of sunny outdoor spaces, good corona concept, delicious food!

Corona regulation implemented in an exemplary manner although many people were there! Cake good and the food looked good too. Staff very friendly and attentive. The Kaiserschmarrn is a poem, but there is no Sunday. So I'll come back during the week.

Great location, good food, nice playground.

Easily accessible on foot, is possible for every fitness level. Outside there is enough space for everyone;) the way there is certainly also exciting for children, as you can repeatedly pass parts of the mountain bike park and watch the people.

very beautiful Alm, which can be reached after a short hike. Great playground for children, there is also a bike park for children right next to the Alm. Despite the large crowd, the drinks and food were available quickly. Everything was delicious. Only the Kaiserschmarn takes a little longer, but is said when ordering. All in all, definitely worth a visit.

It was really nice there, but the way to get there was really not easy. We, my mom, my sister, my 4 year old son and my one and a half year old daughter had to struggle a lot with the way. We also had to pull up a fully loaded wagon with my daughter in it. The path is tarred, but often quite steep. We also parked at the lowest parking lot, as we didn't know that there was still a parking space. We were on the road for an incredible 2 hours with breaks. I would not recommend having a stroller. My 4 year old son did everything well without complaining. He went all the way. We actually thought it would be a leisurely stroll. But it was pretty exhausting. Everything went well in the Käser Alm (due to Corona) at the moment it is self-service and of course you have to leave information such as name and address. Food was tasty and came very quickly after ordering. Staff was very friendly too. Would go up again with light luggage and no stroller.

Nice family hike and then a great playground at the hut. 40 minutes up and 30 minutes back. Suitable for prams. In Corona times there is a limited menu, but still enough space on the terrace. Parking € 2.

A wonderful destination that can be reached in under an hour, even with small children. In addition to the great location, there is also delicious and hearty home-style cooking to eat. Despite the fact that the restaurant was full, the food was brought to our table quickly by the always friendly staff. (Everyone must have tried the Kaiserschmarrn once)

We were at the Alm on May 1st, 2019 and wanted to enjoy the view on the sun terrace with Kaiserschmarren and snack in the best weather. Unfortunately, the Alm is not designed for masses of visitors. There was only drinks, soup and Wiener sausages. The terrace was occupied down to the last seat. What a shame. We won't be back. So if you are planning a visit, you should not go on the hike with too high expectations.

Good food, kind people.

I always love to go to kaseralm and can only recommend to try it out yourself. Best way to get there is walking. Takes no more than 30 minutes from the Talstation. This way you burn enough calories to enjoy one of their many mouthwatering cakes without guilt. Or even better, have the Kaiserschmarrn with Apfelmus which is the best in the whole region. There are a lot of other Schmankerl found on the menu, depending on your appetite. There are plenty of tables and benches outside, where you can enjoy the view and hopefully sunny weather. Can't wait to go there again.
